Technical Business Analyst - Solutions Architect
The Ambassador Theatre Group is an extraordinary success story in the live entertainment industry. Founded in 1992 in the UK, we’ve grown into the world’s number one live-theatre company today. We cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to producing shows and ticketing, through our industry-leading sites ATGtickets.com, LOVEtheatre and Group Line. We are passionate about great shows and our ambition is to help them find the largest possible audiences.
We are excited to be recruiting a Technical Business Analyst with Solution Design skills or the desire to develop their career as a Solution Architect. Reporting to the Head of Architecture, you will be a key member of the IT Architecture function, responsible for business engagement on IT projects, from their Ideation stages through Business Case scoping, project Initiation, and ultimately to the planning & solution design phases. You will be assigned to multiple projects and workstreams within a large IT transformation programme, touching on all domains from Back Office, Digital, Data & Cloud / Infrastructure.
You will likely be a graduate with an IT or business-related degree, or an IT professional who has already gained tangible real-world experience within commodity IT and/or software development projects. You must be open to working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and be comfortable with uncertainty but capable of processing large volumes of data and summarizing for business & technical audiences appropriately. You must be able to show a good track record of translating business strategy and objectives into clear & tangible IT requirements.
You will be very comfortable with requirements gathering and engineering using different techniques for different audiences and stakeholder groups. These might include running feasibility studies, market reviews, RFI/RFP processes, business requirement capture and user story creation.
A passion for the arts & creative industries would be a distinct advantage. This role would suit an early-career individual looking to widen their experience from core business analysis into solution and technical architecture. ATG ‘s vision is to be the undisputed global leader in cultural live entertainment, and this role offers the opportunity to be a key part of that exciting journey.
