The Ambassador Theatre Group is an extraordinary success story in the live entertainment industry. Founded in 1992 in the UK, we’ve grown into the world’s number one live-theatre company today. We cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to producing shows and ticketing, through our industry-leading sites ATGtickets.com, LOVEtheatre and Group Line. We are passionate about great shows and our ambition is to help them find the largest possible audiences.
We are currently looking to recruit a Head of Ticketing Operations (Maternity Cover) here at ATG!
A great live entertainment experience starts with a great ticketing experience. Every year we process more than 16 million tickets a year for hit musicals, acclaimed plays, concerts, comedy shows and a variety of other live events across the UK, US and Germany. We run some of the world’s most popular theatre ticketing sites, with ATGtickets.com alone attracting over 40 million unique visitors a year.
The Head of Ticketing Operations role is part of the UK Ticketing department and your line manager is the Group Ticketing Director. Direct reports within this role are the Head of Ticketing Systems, the Ticketing Operations Manager and the Ticketing Operations Specialists. You’ll support our mission to maximise sustainable ticket sales by leading the delivery of operational services across all our UK venues.
Within this role, you should have the ability to:
- Coordinate teams as they set up and maintain events and venues on our ticketing systems, proactively manage pre-sales and on-sales alongside optimising our use and the performance of our ticketing systems.
- Ensure the successful fulfilment of bookings and maximise sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with all UK Ticketing teams and colleagues, including London Sales, Regional Sales, Agency Sales, Contact Centre, E Commerce, Box Offices, Finance, IT and other ATG departments.
- The successful candidate will also work with the German and US Ticketing teams as appropriate, as well as suppliers and other external representatives.
