Assistant Customer Experience Manager

Nothing beats the energy and excitement of a great live show! If you work well in a team, you're motivated by sales targets and you're looking forward to the return of live events as much as we are, then this could be an ideal next step in your career.

We are recruiting for an Assistant Customer Experience Manager to help us deliver an excellent front of house service and a first class audience experience for our visitors. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with supervisory or team leadership experience looking to progress to management roles in a fun, busy and interesting business. You'll support and motivate the team to achieve their day-to-day sales targets from our various bars, kiosks, and other retail outlets including at-seat delivery, and proactively work to improve what we offer to our customers.

The Bristol Hippodrome is one of the United Kingdom’s largest stages and is the established home in the region for large scale West End and touring shows. We're part of the Ambassador Theatre Group, an extraordinary success story in the live entertainment industry. Founded in 1992 in the UK, we’ve grown into the world’s number one live-theatre company today. We cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to ticketing platforms and producing shows. You'll be joining the company at an exciting time as we prepare to bring back live entertainment in 2021.

If you have the skills to achieve our goals and an affinity for our values we’d like to hear from you! Please download a copy of the job description for further details on the role. Experience from within the entertainment sector is not essential and we actively encourage applications from people from the widest range of backgrounds, including those currently under-represented in this industry.

We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer, which means that we are taking action to ensure that people with disabilities and long-term health conditions feel supported, engaged and able to fulfil their potential in the workplace. We will offer an interview or recruitment event to disabled candidates who tell us they wish to participate in the scheme and who demonstrate in their application that they best meet the essential criteria for the role. Where we receive more applications than we are reasonably able to interview for any given role, we will retain applications for the next available interview opportunity wherever possible.

If you’d like to discuss accessibility prior to applying, please review our job description where you will see a contact e mail address to request a confidential discussion.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and strive to provide a stage for everyone. Onstage and off, we hold ourselves accountable for nurturing an inclusive culture. Find out more about us and our values at atg.co.uk and careers.atg.co.uk

Please note interviews will take place on Tuesday 7th November 2023.
