Customer Experience Manager
The Ambassador Theatre Group is an extraordinary success story in the live entertainment industry. Founded in 1992 in the UK, we’ve grown into the world’s number one live-theatre company today. We cover every discipline in the theatre industry, from operating venues to producing shows and ticketing, through our industry-leading sites ATGtickets.com, LOVEtheatre and Group Line. We are passionate about great shows and our ambition is to help them find the largest possible audiences.
We are currently looking to recruit a Customer Experience Manager to join our team in the wonderful Grand Opera House in York.
The Grand Opera House is the largest theatre in York at just under 1,000 seats. The Theatre was re-launched in October 2022 following significant investment in its bars, dressing rooms and seating. We host a varied programme from west-end touring musicals and plays to popular comedians and one night music gigs. We pride ourselves on delivering a gold-standard welcome to everyone that comes through our doors, whether that be audiences, communities taking part in our Creative Learning work or Visiting Companies.
As Customer Experience Manager you will be a dynamic, innovative and inspirational team leader, responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of the department. Leading the Customer Experience team, you will seek untapped revenue potential, use data to inform future strategic plans, and motivate all staff members to meet and exceed sales targets, delivering a profitable F&B operation. With a keen eye for detail, you will ensure that standards are maintained in the department and venue as a whole to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
