Sales & Development Manager

The Ambassador Theatre Group is an extraordinary success story in the live entertainment industry. Founded in 1992 in the UK, we’ve grown into the world’s number one live-theatre company today. We are excited to be recruiting for the brand-new role of Sales & Development Manager here at the wonderful Stockton Globe for a fixed term period of six months.

Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment, Stockton Globe is now bringing the world's biggest names in music and comedy to the Northeast of England. A major restoration project, funded by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund, saw the beautiful art deco building transformed into an event venue fit for the 21st Century.

Stockton Globe presents a diverse a programme of world class acts. As a flagship UK music and comedy venue, it is a unique live entertainment venue in the Northeast, bringing the biggest acts and best shows from around the world to Teesside once again.

As our Sales & Development Manager, you'll be working closely with the Theatre Director and in collaboration with colleagues across the venues and the wider ATG team nationally, you will seek out and secure opportunities to initiate and grow engagement with a wide range of businesses and partners from across Teesside and beyond. Your work will deliver exciting events and high calibre experiences.

You will be a motivated self-starter as well as a team player, with experience of working in a sales/target-driven environment, and ideally an existing list of your own contacts to combine into the venue’s networks.

This is a very much a sales targeted role in which new business development and sales generation will be an important requirement.
