Bar & Customer Experience Team Member

It’s an exciting time to join the Edinburgh Playhouse. After a successful reopening in August. the autumn and winter seasons find us being the opening venue for both Disney’s Aladdin and Wicked UK tours.  The 2024 programme is also jam packed with new shows and timeless classics, consistently bringing the magic of theatre and live performance to our audiences.

We are very excited to be recruiting Bar & Customer Experience Team Members to join our friendly team and offer some great team member benefits which include:

Within this role, you’ll report to the Customer Experience Manager and their Deputies, Assistants or the Duty Manager on shift. You’ll work as part of a team of Customer Experience Assistants, who work closely together. You will also work closely with our external security team, Security Scotland. There are opportunities to progress and work in our VIP lounge, Director’s box and new pizzeria, Pizzeria Al Teatro. This is a varied role which involves working in all areas of the front of house operation. Evening & weekend working is essential to this role, and we expect the team to be available during these peak times.

Shift lengths are on average 3.5 hours long.  If a performance begins at 7.30pm then the shift times are on average 6.00pm-9:30pm but you may be required to stay later.
