Cellar Person

We are now recruiting a Cellar Person to ensure the smooth running of the Cellar and associated areas in order to contribute to consistent and effective stock control, and to either assist or take control of weekly stock take duties when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- To undertake general porterage duties, as and when required, which will include receiving, checking and assisting with the movement of deliveries/stock/goods and ensuring these are distributed to the relevant departments. Input on to Zonal and receipt any relevant paper work on to Citrix on delivery.
- To re-stock the theatre bars using the information provided in the bar order books by FOH staff at the end of each shift.
- Order stock from multiple suppliers, ensuring that all deliveries are received correctly and that any discrepancies are rectified immediately.
- To ensure the cellar is kept tidy at all times.
- To ensure all security procedures are adhered to in order to minimise stock losses. To include monitoring of stock rotation, reporting of any loss of stock, monitoring and signage of spirits and champagne from the cellar room and daily checks at the start and end of shift of ice cream freezers.
- Regular removal of broken glass from bar areas
- Reporting as soon as possible to line managers or maintenance manager any necessary building maintenance and security issues.
- Complete, monitor and report on weekly line checks on selected product lines.
- Book in CAPCON stock audits and ensure that they are completed.
- Complete and maintain all relevant paperwork in accordance with GDPR rules.
- Ensure maintenance of all cellar and bar equipment.
- Train cover cellar staff and ensure that cellar rota is completed.
- Work in compliance with Health & Safety standards including Food Hygiene legislation.
