Associate Legal Counsel

We are currently looking for an Associate Legal Counsel to support the Legal and Business Affairs team in its wide ranging legal, commercial and business development function across all of the Group’s activities both in the UK and US. Approximately 30-50% of the work will be supporting our US General Counsel and occasional travel to New York and our US venues will be expected.
Get ready for some variety! This role will be assisting the Legal and Business Affairs team to provide day to day legal and business affairs support and advice to the entire Group working closely with each of the main sectors of the Group’s business namely, venues, productions, ticketing and marketing as well as finance and IT. You will assist the team to ensure high standards of compliance are upheld by managing the Risk Register and staying on top of developments which are relevant to our business. Privacy is integral to everything we do, and you will work closely with the Group General Counsel on Data Protection and Privacy compliance including conducting audits, carrying out impact assessments, updating our Record of Processing, drafting policies and procedures and assisting with any data related incidents. Training in this area will be provided.
We are a high growth business, and you will be expected to use your initiative to suggest new ways of working and improve business processes to mitigate risk. We have a keen focus on development, and we invest in our people and you will be given the opportunity and funding to attend training courses in order to further your own self-development.
For this role, it essential that you are a qualified solicitor in England and Wales with experience in a range of legal areas and a keen enthusiasm for a wide variety of challenges.
