Cellar Person
The Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre is looking for a dynamic and responsible person to join our team and take the lead on our stock management. Key to delivering the producer's vision of an immersive club experience, this position plays a pivotal role in the Front of House operation, ensuring the smooth running of the cellar and overseeing a consistent and effective stock control of food and beverage stocks for our bars and snack kiosks, and other consumables. You'll ensure stock levels are maintained effectively throughout the venue and that stock is managed correctly with minimal wastage and discrepancies as well as conducting monthly audits of our stock levels.
You will work with the venue management team, box office, stage door and customer experience team to ensure that stock control measures are being upheld. Stay up to date on new stock listings and product offerings and where appropriate liaise directly with our suppliers for order updates. You will also manage all the associated paper work, inputting and correctly storing delivery notes as well as adhering to our food hygiene practices surrounding deliveries which involve our food offering.
Ideally we would like our new starter to have a good handover with the current position holder therefore availability for a late January start date would be preferable but is not essential.
If you have the skills to achieve our goals and an affinity for our values we’d like to hear from you! Experience from within the entertainment sector is not essential and we actively encourage applications from people from the widest range of backgrounds, including those currently under-represented in this industry.
