A fantastic opportunity to join the Marketing and Communications team based at Swansea Arena as we move further into an exciting 2024! Deputising to the Head of Marketing and Communications and line managing the Marketing and Communications Executive – this role will be a key player in continuing to establish the venue’s place within the live entertainment industry. We are looking for someone with experience of running communications and PR campaigns from creation through to analysis and review, with a strong complimentary marketing background.

You need to be willing and able to flex from getting involved with managing our Social Media channels and creating some eye catching content one day, to working with our Conference and Events team on asset and brand creation on another. Live entertainment is a fast paced environment that can involve last minute changes, movable deadlines, and lots of problem solving – so although we promote a healthy work life balance and a culture of team support and collaboration, you need to be ready to expect sometimes unavoidable changes to your schedule. A love of live entertainment is a must for this role, and a willingness to get your hands dirty helping to run an event – we are more than happy to consider transferable skills from other backgrounds!

Please take a look at our job description download for further details. If you have the skills to achieve our goals and an affinity for our values we’d like to hear from you! Experience from within the entertainment sector is not essential and we actively encourage candidates from the widest possible range of backgrounds to apply. As an important part of the South Wales community, we take our commitment to the Welsh Language Standard very seriously – so the ability to understand spoken and/or written Welsh would be highly desirable (however not essential for this position).

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and strive to provide a stage for everyone. Onstage and off, we hold ourselves accountable for nurturing an inclusive culture. Find out more about us and our values at atg.co.uk and careers.atg.co.uk

We are a Disability Confident Committed Employer, which means that we are taking action to ensure that people with disabilities and long-term health conditions feel supported, engaged and able to fulfil their potential in the workplace. We will offer an interview or recruitment event to disabled candidates who tell us they wish to participate in the scheme and who demonstrate in their application that they best meet the essential criteria for the role. Where we receive more applications than we are reasonably able to interview for any given role, we will retain applications for the next available interview opportunity wherever possible.

If you’d like to discuss accessibility prior to applying, please review our job description where you can find our contact details to request a confidential discussion.
