Deputy Chief Projectionist

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Projectionist to join the Projection team at our fantastic Nova Cinema. The Nova Cinema features seven screens, including a luxury screen complete with electric recliners, and a premium-large format screen boasting Dolby Atmos sound and crystal-clear 4K image.

The New Victoria Theatre opened in 1992 and is firmly established as one of the most beloved theatres in the South East. Boasting state-of-the-art facilities, excellent acoustics and clear sight lines it has hosted first-class performances from the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre, Matthew Bourne and a number of hit shows direct from the West End. The Rhoda McGaw Theatre caters for Woking's many community groups, societies, semi-professional and professional content. It has a varied programme of entertainment throughout the year including musical theatre, comedy, opera, dance, drama and youth performances. As the Deputy Chief Projectionist, you'll report to the Chief Projectionist and be responsible for the team of Casual Projectionists. You’ll also work closely with the Cinema & Events team, along with Customer Experience, Marketing & Communications, and Ticketing. You’ll assist the Chief Projectionist in ensuring Nova Cinema’s high level of quality, making it the go-to destination for film lovers; not only will this mean managing content and completing maintenance tasks, but also assisting in operational matters concerning the programme, running the technical side of private hires and events, and ensuring that cinema technology is accessible to all.
