Senior Technician - Sound

Our wonderful Liverpool Empire Theatre has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the technical team as a Senior Technician, this role is an integral part of the technical team within this busy regional venue. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in the technical aspects of theatre craft and have a background in facilitating shows.  You will be a good team player with excellent communication skills, computer literate and the ability to lead and motivate others.  You will have a good working knowledge of current health and safety legislation, along with modern theatre technology systems.

The Senior Technician - Sound will report to the Head of Lighting & Sound and Head of Stage, and to the Back of House Operations Manager where appropriate. You will be responsible for helping manage the casual staff within the technical department. 

As Senior Technician - Sound, you will be supporting the Head of Lighting and Sound and working as part of the crew on the get in's and get outs and Duty Technician shifts.
