Summer Assistant - Coffee Shop/Ice Cream Shack

Leas Cliff Hall is set into the side of the cliff in Folkestone. It was built in 1927 as a concert hall and has had several additions made to it since then, including the main entrance, which houses the Coffee Shop and Box Office, and The Channel Suite situated under the Grand Hall. Leas Cliff Hall is a multi-functional venue, and houses its own bespoke function and conference suite, The Channel Suite which hosts a range of events, including weddings, conferences, meetings and parties.

So what is this role all about?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused person to join our team for the summer months to help serve our customers in our outdoor ice cream shack and indoor coffee shop. Key responsibilities are to prepare and serve a range of hot/cold food & drinks and ice cream whilst ensuring all food regulations are adhered to and fantastic customer service is provided at all times. Experience is desirable but not essential as onsite training can be provided. This a fixed term contract for the summer only, finishing in September with the possibility of extension.
