Stage Door Keeper

ATG Entertainment is proud to stand at the forefront of the live entertainment industry.

Our expertise and capabilities enable producers and other creatives to bring their visions to life and create unforgettable performances for audiences, presented in our landmark venues and delivered with exceptional hospitality. It is the passion of our teams, that cover every discipline across the live entertainment industry, that underpins our continuing strategic growth and success.

The Ambassadors Theatre is a beautifully intimate playhouse, turning over shows on average every three months, we welcome a fantastic variety of productions from comedy to world premieres of plays starring A-list celebrities. Originally built in 1913, Ambassadors Theatre is one of the few venues to survive 2 World Wars undamaged and keep its doors open. The theatre first opened on 5th June 1913 with Panthea, a play by Monckton Hoffe which ran for only 15 nights. Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap originally opened here on 25th November 1952 and played for 21 years until 1973 when it transferred next door to St Martin’s Theatre, where it has since become the world’s longest running play. In 2007 the theatre became home to the world-famous production of Stomp for 11 years, the venue's second longest running show.

The Stage Door Keeper is both the welcoming face of the venue, providing a warm and helpful first contact for Staff, Visitors and members of the visiting company, as well as being responsible for the monitoring of the fire panel and security of the theatre. This role is vital in keeping all staff and our building safe and is responsible for the active monitoring and implementation of safety systems as well as signing people in and out of the theatre. The successful candidate will be answering calls from our teams and public, have an active role in sorting deliveries and post as well as the day-to-day responsibility of our stage door hub.
