SONIA FRIEDMAN PRODUCTIONS (SFP) is an international production company responsible for some of the most successful theatre productions around the world. Since 1990, SFP has developed, initiated and produced over 200 new productions and together the company has won 63 Olivier Awards, 48 Tonys and 3 BAFTAs. In 2019, Sonia Friedman CBE was awarded ‘Producer of the Year’ at the Stage Awards for a record-breaking fourth time. In 2018, Friedman was also featured in TIME 100, a list of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World. In 2017, she took the number one spot in ‘The Stage 100’, becoming the first number one in the history of the compilation not to own or operate West End theatres and the first solo woman for almost 20 years.

Current productions include: The Book of Mormon (West End); Harry Potter and the Cursed Child (West End, Broadway, Hamburg and Tokyo); Stranger Things: The First Shadow, a co-production with Netflix (West End); Mean Girls (West End); Merrily We Roll Along (Broadway); Stereophonic (Broadway); Patriots (Broadway); Here There Are Blueberries (New York Theatre Workshop); Funny Girl (US tour).

Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for Wardrobe Assistant on the London production of The Book of Mormon.

We are seeking applications from individuals from all backgrounds, with complementary experience and skills, for the position of Wardrobe Assistant.

Responsibilities include working as part of the team in the maintenance, repair and alteration of all costumes on the production, to maintain the look of the production as designed. Other responsibilities include dressing performers prior to and during rehearsals and performances and other performance-related activities, working as part of an efficient and successful department and liaison with all other departments on the production and associated personnel.

Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional experience in a wardrobe department, a high level of sewing skills, the ability to work under pressure and within a team, good interpersonal and communication skills as well as strong organizational and time management qualities.

The contract is for a minimum of one year. Performances are typically Monday to Saturday evenings with matinee performances on Friday and Saturday.
