Sitting in the heart of the Copr Bay development, Swansea Arena is a landmark 3,500 capacity multi-purpose indoor arena which opened its doors in March 2022. Hosting some of the most recognised names in live music, comedy and theatre, the fully-modular arena also hosts e-sports, conferences and events.

Working with the wider venue team, you will support the operational delivery of events in the venue, including theatre performances, music gigs, and comedy shows – ensuring our customers have the best possible experience in our Front of House spaces. As well as this, you will work closely with the Conference and Events team in the delivery of other venue hires such as conferences, banquets and exhibitions.
You’ll report to the Head of Venue Operations and be responsible for the success of the Customer Experience Manager and their team. The key focus of this role is to ensure the high-quality delivery of all events within the venue on an operational basis – from advancing with promoters and event clients through to Duty Managing the event itself.
The individual in this role will balance a strong commercial mindset with the ability to prioritise the health and safety of audiences, guests and staff whilst always delivering a high standard of customer service both front of house and backstage.
People focused, this role will set a positive culture within our front of house team – supporting the Customer Experience Manager in creating and maintaining a team that is informed, engaged and supported to do their jobs to the best of their ability.
Deputising to the Head of Venue Operations, you will support in high level event risk assessing, security management as well as administrative processes such as payroll and finance settlements.
