Deputy Head of Wardrobe
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, experienced Deputy Head of Wardrobe to work on the West End production of MRS. WARREN’S PROFESSION.
Written by George Bernard Shaw, directed by Dominic Cooke, set & costume design by Chloe Lamford, lighting design by Jon Clark, sound design by Christopher Shutt and music by Angus MacRae – the production will open at the Garrick Theatre in May 2025.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to support and deputise for the Head of Wardrobe. Candidates should be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure, as well as having strong organisational and time management qualities to ensure that the production runs efficiently and smoothly.
Technical skills required include: ability to learn and perform dressing cues; experience and good knowledge in the maintenance of varied garments and textiles with excellent hand and machine sewing skills; computer skills with knowledge of Word and Excel; ability and desire to learn new methods and improvement to working practices; ability to work under direction or independently.
Experience as a Deputy on a large-scale production is essential.

- Job Location: West End, London
- Contract Type: Fixed term until Saturday, 16th August 2025, subject to two weeks’ notice by the Producer as per the SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
- Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
- Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks; 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
