Wardrobe Assistant
Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, experienced Wardrobe Assistant to work on the West End production of MRS. WARREN’S PROFESSION.
Written by George Bernard Shaw, directed by Dominic Cooke, set & costume design by Chloe Lamford, lighting design by Jon Clark, sound design by Christopher Shutt and music by Angus MacRae – the production will open at the Garrick Theatre in May 2025.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience in a similar position on a large-scale production
- Excellent hand and machine sewing skills
- Ability to learn and perform dressing cues as the position will include dressing responsibilities
- Excellent laundry skills – including ironing
- Experience of working as a team; great communication and friendly manner
- Ability and desire to learn new methods and improvements to working practices
- Ability to work under direction or independently
- Good computer skills with knowledge of Word and Excel

- Job Location: West End, London
- Contract Type: Fixed term until Saturday, 16th August 2025, subject to two weeks’ notice by the Producer as per the SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
- Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
- Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks; 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
