Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a part-time, experienced Automation Dep on the London production of The Book of Mormon.
Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional theatre experience in automation, the ability to work under pressure and within a team, and good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management qualities.
Responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of the automation equipment for the production, the Tait Chameleon system and covering the deck plot. As well as working within a team to ensure that the show’s automation requirements remain true to the original concept.
Experience on a large-scale production is desired, and experience of Tait systems would be preferable.
Candidates must be highly organised with good communication skills. There will be no contractually agreed minimum hours.
