Senior Technician (Flying & Rigging Bias)
As Senior Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of all technical aspects of our productions, with a particular focus on flying and rigging. You’ll lead and inspire a team of casual technicians through get-ins, fit-ups, performances, and get-outs, ensuring the highest standards of safety, precision, and professionalism.
One of Scotland’s most historic and significant theatres, King’s Theatre Glasgow opened in 1904 and has played host to top stars and shows ever since. Well known for its Christmas pantomimes, it also provides Glasgow’s flourishing amateur groups with a high-profile stage. The theatre continues to present first class shows today from a wide range of genres. Our other Glasgow venue, Theatre Royal Glasgow opened in 1867 and went through two fires before the turn of the century. Standing tall through thick and thin, the theatre has since presented a wide variety of productions covering all genres, including residents Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet. Featuring a Victorian auditorium, Theatre Royal presents first class entertainment.
People are at the heart of our success. We are passionate about bringing great live experiences to the widest possible audience; about giving the world’s best creative talent the stage it deserves; and about providing our people and partners with opportunities to realise their full potential.
This is a permanent, full time role at £17.35 per hour.
