Deputy Stage Manager

ATG Productions are looking for a Deputy Stage Manager to join the team on a Sunny Afternoon, with music and lyrics by Ray Davies and book by Joe Penhall, based on an original story by Ray Davies, directed by Ed Hall. 

Your duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of a DSM on a first-class touring musical. Your duties will include (but are not limited to) working with the Company Stage Manager and Stage Manager to oversee rehearsals and performances. Assisting with the delegation of duties to two Assistant Stage Managers and one Technical ASM. Recording rehearsal notes and managing the prompt book. Calling the run of show at every performance and ensuring the ASM book covers are prepared to step up to call the book on float and cover days. Your duties will also include assisting in the completion of the Stage Management load-in ahead of each first performance, typically on Tuesdays, and the get-out following the final performance at each venue. 

The Contract will run for around 9 months until the end of May 2026.

Applicants must have experience on a touring production in a similar role.  

The successful candidate must be available for all performances and rehearsals.

Start Date: 8th September 2025 

Contract Type: UK Theatre/BECTU Agreement.

Weekly Fee: £825 per week
