Deputy Stage Manager

ATG Productions are looking for a Production Runner to work across 50 First Dates: The Musical, Sunny Afternoon, Get Down Tonight: the KC and the Sunshine Band Musical, and Dear Evan Hansen. Key responsibilities include

  • Assisting show teams with rehearsal space get-ins including loading-in rehearsal materials such as scripts and scores, as well as stage management kits and wardrobe kits.
  • Being present at rehearsals and technical rehearsals when needed, purchasing and providing refreshments and on the ground support as required.
  • Assisting at Meet and Greet events for cast and creatives including organizing catering as well as set-up and tear down of these events, plus welcoming new companies and creative teams.
  • Preparing and distributing rehearsal material such as scripts and scores.
  • Assisting with the organisation and delivery of Gala/Press events through a range of tasks including but not limited to: gifting, invite distribution, ticket distribution, and on the ground support.
  • Communicating with external vendors as required for each production in a professional and clear manner. 

Previous experience as a Production Runner is not required for this role. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic to learn about working within a Production department, supporting various productions and their creative teams throughout their rehearsal and technical periods.

Location: ATG Production’s office – Duke of York’s Theatre, St Martin’s Lane, London. 

Reporting to: Associate General Manager

Salary: £28,000pa (pro-rated)

Contract: Full time, fixed term contract for 9 weeks, from Wednesday 30th July until Tuesday 30th September. 

A flexible approach to weekly working hours will be required due to the nature of this role, including weekend and evening work. 

Interviews will take place on Friday 25th July.
