ATG Entertainment is one of the most successful and best-known names in the live-entertainment industry, an achievement that has taken more than 30 years and an unbelievable effort on the part of every one of our thousands of staff members around the world.
That achievement, however, couldn’t be considered a true success unless we matched it with an equal effort in working to make things better for our communities and youth; for our staff and our industry; for our towns and our planet.
One of our key CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Pillars at ATG is Community, Diversity & Inclusion. In the UK, we have an IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access) Committee, which is a body of staff that are committed to challenging the way ATG and our wider industry supports staff from the many and varied backgrounds that reflect the communities within which we operate. The committee also celebrates Diversity and Inclusion, promoting Anti-Racism, facilitating Pride Events, marking key events such as International Women’s Day and Mental Health Awareness week, delivering Disability Confident Commitment campaigns, and supporting staff initiatives and championing Employee Networks.
All staff as encouraged to join our employee Networks (Women's Network / LGBTQ Network / Neurodiversity Network / Global Majority Network) which are open to everyone working for the company, in any role or capacity. Our Networks feed into the wider IDEA committee, contributing to its mission for impactful change and continuing to improve the overall culture of the company.
We are delighted to share with you the 2024 Annual Review for ATG Entertainment Creative Learning & Community Partnerships.

Change The Script in the West End
Change The Script is a programme designed to support people local to our London venues who are long term unemployed, in receipt of government benefits, or with lived experience of homelessness.
A first of its kind, Change the Script offered 10 participants paid technical training, opening the possibility of theatre careers to people who had not considered it for them. The 3-week training covered everything from health and safety to construction, each participant gained level 3 Health and Safety, CSCS and manual handling qualifications, and then took part in 4 weeks paid placements in our West End venues (Piccadilly, Savoy, Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse, Phoenix and Apollo Victoria).
Change the Script won the UK Theatre Award for Workforce 2023; the project was delivered by our ATG Entertainment West End Creative Learning Team in partnership with building developers WATES and LANDSEC and educational provider Skillcentre.
