Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking a talented individual to be Deputy Head of Costume on the UK/ European Tour production of The Book of Mormon.

Responsibilities include working as part of the team in the maintenance, repair and alteration of all costumes on the production, to maintain the look of the production as designed. Other responsibilities include dressing performers prior to and during rehearsals and performances and other performance-related activities, working as part of an efficient and successful department and liaison with all other departments on the production and associated personnel. As this is a deputy HOD position, you will also be required to deputise for the HOD, which means the role will need leadership skills, experience in people management and the running of a similar department.

Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional experience in costume, high level of sewing skills, the ability to work under pressure and within a team and good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organizational and time management qualities. Experience in theatre is preferred for this position but we will also consider people with a proven record of skills in a similar environment. The Book of Mormon is currently touring the UK and internationally, we are looking for a candidate to start in December 2021.
