The Ambassador Theatre Group Management Training Scheme is a unique two-year programme that kick-starts a management career in commercial theatre. Aimed at those focused on a leadership role in our exciting industry, we’re looking for exceptional individuals with a flair for business and the potential to make a lasting impact on our company.

You will contribute to ATG’s business priorities, both strategically and operationally, by taking responsibility for a varied set of projects with a bias towards the operation and development of our UK venues. You’ll be placed in the venues and teams from our UK operation where you can learn the most and make the greatest contribution at that time, with the intention that you graduate the scheme an excellent candidate for senior venue management roles.

The Management Trainees will start the role in September 2022 for an initial training period of two years. The application process begins with an online application form, and is followed by a telephone interview, an assessment day, and an interview. Unfortunately we are not able to offer feedback in the early stages of the recruitment process as a result of the high volume of applications we receive for this role.

Please make sure you are available for the following dates:

w/c 21st March 2022: Individual telephone interview

Monday 11th April 2022: Group assessment day in London 10am – 5pm

21st or 22nd April 2022: Interviews in London

It is not possible to arrange alternative dates and you must be able to attend both the assessment day and final interview in person.

Offers will be made subject to the receipt of satisfactory pre-employment checks including taking up references and confirming your eligibility to work in the UK. As part of the scheme you will undergo training to become a Personal License Holder which includes the training provider carrying out a Disclosure & Barring Service check.
