Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for an experienced Wigs, Hair and Make-up Assistant on the London production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. 

Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, this new play by Jack Thorne received its world premiere in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre in summer 2016. The critically acclaimed production is the most awarded West End play in the history of the Olivier Awards, winning a record-breaking nine awards including Best New Play and Best Director in 2017. 

We are seeking applications from individuals from all backgrounds, with complementary experience and skills. Experience on a large-scale production is essential. Any potential candidate must be organised and have good communication skills. They must also be proactive and work well within a team.

Skills required include excellent: wig setting and dressing, Afro/textured hair, gents hair cutting and styling, character and fashion make-up and some prosthetics.

Please note this is not an entry level assistant role and experience in all of the above is essential.
