SONIA FRIEDMAN PRODUCTIONS (SFP) is a West End and Broadway production company responsible for some of the most successful theatre productions in London and New York. Since 1990, SFP has developed, initiated and produced over 170 new productions and together the company has won a staggering 55 Olivier Awards, 30 Tonys and 2 BAFTAs.

Current productions include: the UK premiere of The Book of Mormon, West End and UK & European tour, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London, New York and Melbourne, Mean Girls at the August Wilson Theatre, New York, Fiddler on the Roof at the Playhouse Theatre, London and The Inheritance, New York.

Forthcoming productions include: Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in San Francisco, Hamburg & Toronto, the world premiere of Tom Stoppard’s Leopoldstadt at Wyndham’s Theatre, London, a new adaptation of Uncle Vanya at Harold Pinter Theatre, London and a transfer of the Almeida production of The Doctor, Duke of York’s Theatre, London. 

We are looking for a Marketing Director to take the lead on campaigns for a long-running West-End production, covering a period of maternity leave of approximately 12 months. With a proven ability to deliver outstanding and impactful marketing campaigns and strategies, you'll be confident working as part of a global franchise, building on our excellent work and reputation to drive stellar results for this significant production. 

Essential qualities, skills and experience:
  • Thorough understanding of marketing campaigns, digital marketing environments, social media trends and press strategies.
  • Thorough understanding of global brand management and communication strategy across all platforms and channels.
  • Strong numeracy and confidence interpreting sales reports and managing budgets.
  • A thorough understanding and knowledge of SFP’s major productions and partners.
  • An understanding and experience working in international theatre markets.
  • First-rate copy-writing and proofing skills. 
  • Confident professional communication manner.
  • Discretion regarding sensitive information.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
